Social Media Manager

(US/EMEA Timezone) | Remote Role

Midshifts is seeking a Social Media Manager to support a growing U.S.-based client by creating, managing, and optimizing their online presence across multiple social media platforms. Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll help bring the brand to life through engaging content, community management, and performance tracking. This is a remote-first opportunity for a creative, organized professional who understands both strategy and execution.

What Your Days Will Look Like

Content Planning: Develop and maintain social media content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and business goals.

Content Creation: Create engaging captions, graphics, short-form videos, and other digital content that reflects the client’s brand voice.

Community Management: Monitor comments, messages, and mentions while building meaningful relationships with the online community through timely and professional responses.

Platform Management: Publish and schedule content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and other relevant channels.

Performance Reporting: Track engagement, reach, audience growth, and campaign performance while providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content opportunities to keep the brand competitive and relevant.

Who Will Thrive

The Creative Storyteller: You have 2–4 years of experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands and understand how to create content that resonates.

The Strategic Thinker: You know that successful social media is more than posting—it’s about building communities, increasing engagement, and supporting business objectives.

The Detail-Oriented Planner: You excel at organizing content calendars, managing deadlines, and juggling multiple campaigns simultaneously.

The Digital Communicator: You have exceptional written English skills and can confidently adapt your writing style to different audiences and brand voices.

Technical & Shift Requirements

Schedule: Full-time availability aligned with U.S. business hours (Midshift/Overlap).

Work Environment: A quiet, professional, distraction-free remote workspace.

Hardware: A reliable computer capable of handling creative software, scheduling platforms, and multiple browser tabs.

Connectivity: Fast, stable internet with a dependable backup connection.

Skillset: Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent), Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, Metricool, or similar scheduling and analytics platforms. Experience with basic photo/video editing is highly preferred.
