Midshifts is seeking a Financial Data Analysis Assistant to provide essential analytical and operational support to a growing U.S.-based client. Working directly with the Finance team, you will help manage the firm’s data flow, translating daily financial updates into clear, easy-to-read reports. This is a mission-driven, remote-first role for a detail-oriented professional who excels at organizing data and supporting executive decision-making.
What Your Days Will Look Like
Report Generation: Assist in creating and updating basic dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Looker.
Data Organization: Help collect and organize data from various sources such as Oracle EPM, Excel, or market data terminals.
Financial Support: Assist the accounting team by preparing simple data summaries for P&L statements and budget tracking.
KPI Tracking: Monitor key business metrics and ensure data is updated on time for weekly management reviews.
Data Quality Control: Review financial entries for accuracy and maintain well-organized digital filing systems.
Team Coordination: Act as a bridge between departments to ensure financial information is shared and documented correctly.
Who Will Thrive
